Kindergarten theme

Myra flew down the stairs toward the lower school. She knew that most everyone had disappeared in the apocalypse but she wasn't sure how many people at the school had survived. She flung the door wide open and rushed inside. At the end of the hall she stopped and turned into one of the Kindergarten rooms. Myra's eyes grew wider as she realized that the kindergarteners hadn't made it. Myra put her head in her hands and fell to her knees. The mess was there from when everything had fallen from the children's hands. Myra had rushed down to the lower school to see if her six year old sister had made it. She fell to her knees and wept for her family. Her sister had always irritated her but she loved her dearly. Myra shook as she remembered times when her sister had been sweet. Her tears flowed freely through her fingers and onto the floor where they began to puddle. After several minutes Myra was able to calm herself. She got back to her feet and used a paper towel to dry her face. Finally she left the lower school and went to talk to the rest of her friends about what had happened and what they were going to do.
